Getting started
What is Singlebase?
Singlebase is a backend platform for agents and builders. It brings databases, AI capabilities, identity, storage, and web components together.
Which database capabilities are available?
DocumentDB stores application records. VectorDB retrieves information by similarity. Full Text Search finds words and phrases, while Hybrid combines keyword and semantic retrieval. Identity and Storage sit alongside them to connect users and files. Explore Database →
How do I connect my application?
Use the Singlebase JavaScript SDK or the platform APIs. Install
@singlebase/singlebase-sdk and connect your project. See the coding example →Agents & intelligence
Can agents have different database permissions?
Yes. Each agent can have its own database access and permissions, scoped to the part of the database it needs. Learn about agent access →
What is the difference between Chat with Documents and Chat Box?
Chat with Documents is the intelligence service for asking questions about your document knowledge. Chat Box is the component that embeds that conversation on your website.
Where does Document to Markdown fit?
It is an Intelligence service. It converts document content into Markdown for AI processing and downstream knowledge workflows. Explore document conversion →
How are DocsIQ and Data Lens different?
DocsIQ turns documents into a knowledge base. Data Lens helps you explore and get insight from your application data. Explore Intelligence →
Identity & storage
What does Identity provide?
Identity connects users to your app through account sign-up, sign-in, and access control. It lives under the Database section. Explore Identity →
How is Identity different from Auth UI?
Identity is the authentication and user-access service. Auth UI is the embeddable component that gives your website a sign-in and account interface. Explore Auth UI →
What can I keep in Storage?
Use Storage for the reports, images, and files your agents generate, as well as user uploads and application assets. Explore Storage →
How do users upload files?
Embed the File Uploader component on your website to bring user content into your application’s storage. Explore File Uploader →
Can stored documents feed an intelligence workflow?
Yes. Stored documents can be inputs to document conversion and knowledge workflows, including Document to Markdown and DocsIQ. Explore Intelligence →
Plans & support
What plans are available?
Lite is $9.00/month; Plus is $20.00/month; Premium is $60.00/month; Business is $200.00/month. Agent access, AI credits, and data record limits vary by plan. Compare plans →
Are private cloud and on-premises options available?
Business includes private cloud and on-premises options. Contact support to discuss your deployment needs.
Where can I get help?
